2. Use of Our Website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- introduce viruses, malware or harmful technology;
- attempt unauthorised access to our systems or customer data;
- interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- copy, scrape or commercially exploit our website content without permission.
We may restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure product names, descriptions, sizes, fragrance concentrations, prices and images are accurate.
Packaging, bottles, labels and presentation may occasionally be updated by the manufacturer without notice. Product photographs are therefore illustrative and packaging received may differ slightly from the images shown.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights where goods are materially different from their description.
4. Fragrance Information
Fragrance notes, longevity, projection, scent family and similar descriptions are provided as general guidance.
Fragrance performance and perception can vary between individuals due to skin chemistry, temperature, environment and other factors.
Personal preference regarding a fragrance does not itself mean the product is faulty.
5. Product Authenticity
We aim to supply genuine products sourced through legitimate commercial supply channels. Unless stated otherwise, products are supplied as new retail goods.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your request but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.
We may cancel or decline an order before dispatch for reasons including:
- stock availability;
- payment authorisation failure;
- suspected fraud;
- delivery restrictions;
- incorrect product information;
- an obvious pricing error.
If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, the relevant amount will be refunded.
7. Prices and Payment
Prices and applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you complete checkout. Taxes will be included or identified as applicable.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be dispatched.
8. Pricing Errors
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may contact you before dispatch to offer the correct price or cancel the affected order.
9. Delivery
We deliver to eligible locations made available during checkout. Estimated delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct before submitting your order.
10. Risk and Ownership
For consumer orders, responsibility for goods generally passes to you when the products are delivered to you or a person identified by you to receive them, subject to applicable law.
Ownership passes once full payment has been received.
11. Cancellation and Returns
Cancellation, change-of-mind and return rights are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If goods arrive damaged, defective, materially not as described or you receive the wrong item, please contact order@fragrancestockroom.co.uk.
We ask that visible transit damage is reported within 48 hours where possible, as this helps us investigate with the delivery company quickly.
This 48-hour request does not reduce or remove your statutory rights.
13. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions may be subject to additional conditions and may be restricted by customer, product, territory, quantity or time period.
Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other promotional codes.
14. Gift Cards
Gift cards, where available, will be subject to any specific terms shown at the point of purchase or issue.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available, secure and operational but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
16. Intellectual Property
Our website design, branding, text, photographs, graphics and proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Brand names and trademarks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
17. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party payment providers, delivery companies and other independent services.
We are not responsible for independent third-party websites outside our control.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.
19. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, major transport disruption, industrial action, customs disruption, government restrictions or widespread network failures.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and contracts made through our website are generally governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, including within the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections provided by applicable law in your country of habitual residence.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove mandatory consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those mandatory rights, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction. Where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another competent court, nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising that right.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will be shown on this page together with the most recent update date.
